[She can't help but stare at him for a moment, surprised.]
Seriously? You got me one of the mag— [DON'T SAY MAGICAL DON'T SAY MAGICAL CORRECTING COURSE-] One of those somehow really deep bags that you could fit anything in? [She opens it, stares inside, and looks a little excited by the prospect.] How much food can you fit in here? What's the limit, here? Bicycles? Beds? Giant fuck-off swords?
[With a loud laugh, he shakes his head and then rattles off the approximate dimensions of what will and will not fit into the bag. Suffice it to say that even though canon gives absolutely no indication of what the limit is, it's sufficient for any of Ziggy's needs probably save a bed.
And he did in fact notice that save, good job Ziggy.]
They're made of normal fabric with an array sewn into the design. I can teach you to make them eventually, if you'd like.
And if something ever happens to this one, I can make you another one, I know how these missions go sometimes.
[Hey, she's more than happy with what he's listed off here.
This bag is her new best friend.]
I'd love to know how, of course. Maybe over time we can make some for the others on the ship, too. What orber wouldn't kill for one of these? [With a slight smile, she adds:] Thank you. For thinking about me.
I mean, I know I'm your student and all, but you didn't have to.
[He's handed out a few already, but only a handful, and he grins at Ziggy, nodding in agreement.]
I didn't have to, [He repeats] I wanted to.
I don't know what it means to be student and teacher in your world, Ziggy, but in mine, it's more than just a title. [It's true of course that in some settings, teachers and students weren't close and some teachers were just plain bad, but as far as he's concerned, becoming Ziggy's teacher means they're nearly family, if not by blood. It isn't so different from being an older brother, really.] And I couldn't ask for a sweeter or more brilliant student.
[His grin makes it clear that the compliments may have been sincere, but he was also looking forward to this reaction exactly, and he snickers in response.]
Alright, alright, I meant you're my most troublemaking delinquent student, truly a terror to teach. [He laughs.]

It's particularly weak and not at all any kind of attempt at a punch.]
Don't call me sweet. I'm a troublemaker. I'm a delinquent.
You're going to start giving me a big head about it if you don't watch it.
[If she's blushing at the sweet words, nobody has to know, right? Right.
(Maybe she's not used to people saying anything nice about her.
Maybe.)]

Alright! Don't forget to pack it then, I'll see you later a-xing! [He offers her a wink and a grin and then is on his way.]
